The Great Divorce Ad
File this one under "I can't make this stuff up." Check out this link to a real ad that Ford just released.
Now, perhaps someone can tell me what is going on over there at Ford. Their bonds are junk status, they are talking about going private as a company, people are simply not buying their cars, and now this.
Yes, divorce happens, and it is painful. But since when does pain sell? Further, what if pain does sell? Does that mean its time to reap commercial success from the agony of children saying goodbye to their parents?
I would be interested in hearing your responses, particularly from those of you who are divorced. Does this sort of use of your real life situation make you want to consider this car?
I guess I'm just a bit bewildered.
